Exit 66 · Gas Station Tycoon
Privacy Policy
Effective 10 October 2026 · Türkçe
The short version. Exit 66 is a single-player, offline game. There are no accounts and no login. Your save file stays on your device. We do not collect your name, e-mail, location or contacts, and we do not collect your device's advertising identifier — so the game never asks you for tracking permission. What we do collect is anonymous gameplay statistics and crash reports, used only to fix bugs and balance the game.
Who is responsible
This game is developed and published by Gökhan Tuncer, an independent developer based in Türkiye, who acts as the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect
1. Anonymous gameplay statistics
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the game is played — for example, how many players finish their first fuel service, or which upgrade people buy first. This tells us where the game is confusing or unbalanced.
| Data | Examples |
|---|---|
| Gameplay events | A vehicle was served, a sale was made, an upgrade was bought, a day ended, an optional ad was watched, offline earnings were collected |
| Progress state | Star level reached, in-game day reached, number of staff hired, number of upgrades owned, interface language |
| Technical | Device model, operating system version, app version, approximate country, average frame time (performance) |
| Identifier | A random, app-specific installation ID generated by Firebase. It is not your name, e-mail or phone number, and it is not shared across apps |
These events carry only numbers and short labels from a fixed list. They never contain free text, personal details or location.
2. Crash reports
We use Google Firebase Crashlytics. If the game crashes or hits an error, we receive a technical report: what the code was doing at the moment of failure, the device model and OS version, the app version, and a small amount of game state (current in-game day, cash, star level). This is how a crash you experience gets fixed for everyone.
3. Remote settings
We use Google Firebase Remote Config to adjust game balance values without shipping a new version. The game asks the server "what are the current settings?" and the server answers. This request includes the same installation ID and basic device information.
4. If you write to us
If you send us an e-mail, we will of course have your e-mail address and whatever you write. We use it to answer you and nothing else.
What we do not collect
- No advertising identifier. Collection of the advertising ID (Apple IDFA / Android Advertising ID) is switched off in our build, and the Android
AD_IDpermission is removed from the app entirely. Because of this the game never shows an app tracking permission prompt. - No account, no login, no password. The game has no user accounts.
- No location. We never request or receive GPS or precise location. Firebase derives an approximate country from the network connection; we do not store your IP address.
- No contacts, photos, microphone, camera or file access.
- No cross-app or cross-site tracking, and no data brokers. We do not sell or share your data for advertising purposes.
- Your save file is not uploaded. Game progress and settings are stored only on your device. If you delete the app, that data is gone — we cannot restore it for you.
Why we collect it
- To fix problems. Crash reports show us failures we could never reproduce ourselves.
- To balance the game. Anonymous statistics tell us whether progression is too slow, too fast, or gets stuck.
- To improve the first minutes. If new players do not reach their first fuel service, something in the game is unclear and needs fixing.
Where the GDPR applies, our legal basis is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) in maintaining and improving the game. You can object at any time by writing to us (see below). Deleting the app also stops all collection immediately. In Türkiye, the same processing is carried out under the KVKK (Law No. 6698) on the corresponding legitimate-interest basis.
Who else sees it
The services above are provided by Google (Firebase), which processes this data on our behalf as our service provider. Data may be processed on servers outside your country, including in the United States, under Google's own safeguards and terms. We do not share your data with anyone else.
How long we keep it
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Analytics events | 14 months, then automatically deleted by Google |
| Crash reports | Up to 90 days, per Google's Crashlytics retention |
| E-mail correspondence | Until it is no longer needed to help you |
Your choices and rights
- Reset your identifier. Deleting and reinstalling the app generates a new installation ID and disconnects any previous data from your device.
- Ask us. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object to its processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Write to [email protected] and we will respond. Please note that because this data is anonymous and not linked to your identity, we may need the installation ID from your device to find it — and if we cannot identify your data, we may not be able to action a request.
Children
This game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we add features that change what is collected — for example optional rewarded ads or in-app purchases — we will update this page and change the effective date at the top before those features are released. Significant changes will also be noted in the app.
